Item conditions

In addition to new goods, you can also purchase professionally refurbished hardware at Menke IT. Here is an overview of the different item conditions in our online shop.

FS = factory sealed

This is a new product, which comes in the sealed original box of the manufacturer.

NOB = new open box

Devices in this condition are also new, but the outer packaging has already been opened. For example, to check the contents of the box.

NEW = new

New and unused items, which are delivered without the original packaging (bulk). These items were, for example, taken from bundles or sent as spare parts without accessories.

OEMREF = OEM refurbished

Remanufactured (refurbished) goods that have been inspected and cleaned by the original manufacturer (OEM). These devices are working perfectly and have been reset to factory defaults. Lighter signs of wear may be present.

REF = refurbished

Refurbished goods that have been tested and cleaned in-house to a very high standard. Normal (lighter) signs of wear from previous use are usually present. These devices are working perfectly and have been reset to factory defaults.

USED = used

Used goods, which have been checked and cleaned, but show more severe signs of wear from previous use. These devices have been factory defaulted as well.
